Here in Japan we are having a mini ice age. The snow continues to fall on western Japan with over 4 meters (10 ft.) in many places. Over 70 people have died from the snow trapping or falling from roofs. Here in Osaka we have no snow that is staying but lots of snow flurries and cold. I had been wanting snow and such but this is a little off balance. Too much is falling in some places. The place with the most snow is Niigata which already had suffered from a serious earthquake last year. The weakened houses their are under extra strain. Meanwhile Australia is having a warm summer and my own home is having a warm winter in St. Louis. I am farther south by lattitude but colder by as much as 50*F (20*C). Very strange.
